ANNUAL EVENTS

ACSI Academic Competitions

Our students have the opportunity to participate in the ACSI Spelling Bee, Math Olympics, Creative Writing Competition and Science Fair. The competitions begin at the school level, with qualifying students moving on to the district level. Parents enjoy our Science Fair Open House where they can see first hand all of the interesting experiments and project displays from our "scientists".

See You At The Pole

In the Spring we come together at the flag pole and and pray for our school, our families, and our country. This is a tradition that MCA has participated in for many years.  This morning of prayer is recognized by many schools nation wide.

Spirit Week and Homecoming

For a whole week our Middle and High School students gear up for the Homecoming football game by showing their spirit for MCA. Each day of the week has a different dress up theme (such as international day or decades day) before Saturday's game when we crown our Homecoming Court.

Operation Christmas Child

Every year our students and their families put a lot of love into making sure children in need have gifts for Christmas. Before Christmas we have special Chapel days where we pray over the gift boxes that have been donated by our families before they are sent to different parts of the world.

Our PreK and Elementary students show off their talent and love for Jesus with songs and skits depicting the story of Christmas. Parents look forward to watching their children perform in these heart warming productions organized by our Music and Art department.

Christmas Programs

We celebrate a night of culture and cuisine from all around the world as each grade presents a stunning display table of their assigned country. Students and staff attend in traditional dress from different nations. It's a time of learning, fun, and fellowship.

International Potluck Night

It's one of our biggest fundraisers of the year.  In the past it has included games, giant inflatables, face painting, a trackless train, concessions and vendors. Students have gotten a chance to slime the teacher, pie the teacher, and dunk administrators in the dunk tank. Our PTVO does a wonderful job organizing this event that our families look forward to all year long.
