Dear MCA Family,

With great joy and thanks to God and our Lord Jesus Christ, we are pleased to announce and celebrate that the ACSI South-Central Regional Accreditation Commission has granted accreditation to Memorial Christian Academy!  

Our accreditation is retroactively granted to July 1^st, 2011.   We requested this date to help our graduating seniors as they plan for their college careers.   The commission granted us accreditation for a full term of five years, which is the longest term possible.  Each year we will submit an annual report to ACSI to maintain our accreditation that will keep ACSI informed about the progress of our school.  Accreditation is not a one-time event, but an ongoing process that seeks continuous improvement of the school and all its programs.  ACSI stands for the Association of Christian Schools International.  It is one agency authorized by TEPSAC, the Texas Private School Accreditation Commission, to accredit private schools in Texas. 

We wish to thank our Board of Directors, our Faculty and Staff, our Parents and Families, our Students, and the Memorial Baptist Church for all the commitment, work, and effort that makes this announcement possible.  It is truly a historic milestone in the life of our school.  

We expect to offer a formal public announcement through newspaper and TV coverage within the next few weeks. 

Also, within the next week, and prior to the start of the re-enrollment period, we will be announcing several developments affecting the next school year.  We will provide information about policy and procedure adjustments, program offerings, dress code, student expectations, and new Tuition and Fee rates.
